Shortly before leaving Arthur D. Little I founded FESTEL CAPITAL in 2002 as an advisory and investment firm focusing on the commercialisation of technologies and optimisation of organisations in the areas of energy, environment, health, materials and nutrition.
We worked as advisors mainly within technology assessment and strategy development projects for companies, like Aventis, BASF, DSM, Merck, Roche and Siemens. During the first years, we started also the first commercialisation projects in co-operation with academic institutions, like ETH Zürich, the University of Bayreuth and the University of Bremen.
There is also a dedicated website for Festel Capital under www.festel-capital.com. The website is not up-to-date, but there are some interesting articles and other resources to be found there.
